About the Photographer...

There is something definitely special about Somer Haines Photography. Truly, she captures the essence of your wedding day. Her portraits will forever remind you of not only how you looked, but how you felt.

The most stressful part of a your wedding day is often the pictures, but it is amazing how comforting Somer makes your experience. Her personality  helps you relax, this helps her in capturing the truth in your portraits.  In fact, most brides think of her more as a bridesmaid than their photographer. Often while photographing, Somer has her assistant bring water to the couple, or a cloth to dab the summer heat. These small gestures reveal how important it is that her clients are comfortable.

Somer Haines takes a great consideration for the fact that it is "your day". The focus of your guests should be on you, not a photographer that is in the way. During a ceremony she uses professional zoom lenses that allow her to capture close-ups with out being noticed by guests. Overall, her time is well managed, and her fast pace will let you enjoy your wedding day!

What would happen if your camera breaks?

I rarely photograph well, how will I know I will come out good in my wedding pictures?

This is Somer's favorite and most frequently asked question. Reason being that her brides end up usually not knowing which pictures to choose.  Her favorite reply is, "Is that me!" She has the eye for looking at anyone and knowing what angles and positioning of her camera will photograph them beautifully.  In addition, she definitely has a great rapport with her clients, which contributes to capturing your natural expressions.
